“History is all too often taught as a story in which the pursuit of war and power is emphasized. The lives of most of the Nobel Peace Prize Winners illuminate another historical perspective – the non-violent pursuit of peace. This book seeks to tell their inspiring stories, a needed dimension to how history is taught.”
